Around the World: Moscow

I was in Moscow in August 2001 and it was raining, in November 2009 raining and snowing, in April 2010 raining! Maybe I haven't to change period, I have to change place :-) Joke aside, Moscow is always a nice city to wander alone and by foot, you always discover some hidden face of the city, like this morning, my eyes were all caught by the Art Nouveau and the Liberty Style.

As always, enjoy some of my pics, for who likes them and ignore them if you are not interested, this is my hobby and I like to share it with my friends:

Lovely pics. I saw the Twilight of the Tsars exhibition years ago at the V&A and there were incredible photos and architectural drawings showing the development of Russian Art Nouveau.

Those are some pretty buildings! I especially like the last two. Are they condos and a home?

4 was a condo and 5 a private home. I needed to be careful in take some picture since sometime, private home have security officers outside and they don't like if you take photos.

I didn't see the building you sent me the link but it's really lovely. There are some very wonderful buildings in Moscow, I like very much that period of architecture for private buildings, probably one of the best.

Building 5 is amazing! Definitely not out of the rigid Soviet period, this one had a little more fairy tale life to it.
