In memory of Jennifer Wilde

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: Tom Elmer Huff (January 8, 1938 - January 16, 1990) was a best-selling American author of romance novels under the pen names Jennifer Wilde, Edwina Marlow, Beatrice Parker, and Katherine St. Clair.

His first release, Love's Tender Fury, had 41 printings in its first five years, and his second historical romance, Dare to Love, spent 11 weeks on the New York Times paperback bestseller list. His historical romances were noted for being written in first-person, from the heroine's perspective. Many of his books also featured multiple male protagonists, and "the man who first captures the heroine's heart isn't always the one who ends up with it."

I think he was a first for many of us. For me my first was KE Woodiwiss.

My first was Captive Bride by Johanna Lindsay, then second was Rogue's Mistress by Constance Gluyas. Woodiwiss's The Flame and the Flower came soon after, though, and I enjoyed it very much. :)

Lindsey and Woodiwiss are two of my keeper authors. And Johanna Lindesey with her secretiveness is a very "old" fashion star. Elisa

OMG a man writing in the first person as the heroine---just this point alone is very interesting to me!

I think you can easily find a second hand copy. He was pretty famous both in USA than Italy. Elisa
