Thanks!!!

Thanks to the anonymous sender who has sent me as gift a 24 months account to LJ (And also a yellow rose!!!). I have an idea who she/he is, but she/he wants to remain anonymous so I can only say thank by this journal, and since the hope of this gift is that I continue to read, and write in my bad English about my readings, well I will continue to do it!!!

Elisa (always surprise but very happy that someone is interested in her brainstorming...)

ETA: I'm not more so sure of the identity of the anonymous... so I'm even more happy and delighted from the gift. Thanks!!!

It's nice news to hear, and I'm happy I can read your blog again :')

Do you think it's nice to give something like degree to each review of book? Like... I'm a bit in a hurry now, so tell you later about it :)

Ouch... for me that is an old and painful matter. I hate to give degree to books I read. I'm very unable to do it.

For me there isn't a good or bad book. Since I believe that what I like is my personal taste and someone else could have a very different idea than me. So why I have to give a vote? I give you my opinion, I think you can clearly understand from one of my reviews, if I love a book, or only like it, or maybe only read it and it has not left very much in me. From that moment on, is up to you to decide if you want to read it. MY is only my opinion, you have to read it and build your own opinion.

And then, as always say, I write of a book only if I have really read it. If I don't like a book, I don't finish it (I have a very long waiting reading list to waste time on a book I don't like) and so I don't write about it. How can I write about a book that maybe I have drop in the middle, and in the other half of the book I haven't read is an hidden treasure?

I don't mean something like "stars". About contents.
You know, sometimes it's not clear(your reviews are pretty good!, I swear) if the story is very sweet and tender without much sex, or very hot.
Anyway, it depends on you :)

Oh, now I understand. About contents... well if a book is really hot, usually I say it. But you know, I have to say that my impressions are really changed in the last year. What I believed one year ago, is not what I feel now. But then, usually, I make a comment if the book is very hot.

I love reading your reviews -- you are always very fair and curteous, even if the book wasn't to your taste. And as for your "bad English", well it all adds to the charm :D

Thanks Cassi. Maybe twenty years from now I will learn English and I will loose my charm! :-)))

How nice! :)

I once got an anonymous rose, I thought it was totally great and mysterious-romantic (and I always think I'm not romantic, lol).

It's a very strange thing. Last night me, Josh Lanyon, Syd McGinley and Mychael Black (Josh, Syd and Mychael are all M/M writer), all of us have received from anonymous sender virtual gifts and free account. It's very strange, I think from the same person, but no one of us has an idea from who.

*nods* I'm very pleasantly stunned. LOL

And I'm very proud to be among you! Elisa

I personally love reading your posts. The English is endearing. :D

Wow, charming, endearing... if my English reflect my personality, I'm a very interesting woman!! :-)))) Elisa (who jokes...)
