Unfortunately not. He is certainly hot. Nice eye candy. I love her books. I guess I'll be going out and getting this one... - shari

Yes. also I love her books. And this cover wins the last cover contest of my blog and for a month will be the header image of the blog: and now I have many italian female readers who says that every morning, when open my blog, they are obsessed by his eyes...

I've seen the face before... I think it may be a stock photo off Shutterstock or Istock photo.

I try to browse the websites you named, but they have thousand of photos... BTW is it possible to use a photo for a cover from one of this sites? and don't know the name of the models? it's a strange things, thinking you are in a cover of a books and nobody knows your name!

Yes. Cover artists (or the publisher) buys a subscription that covers the copyright fees. The site pays the photographer a royalty each time thier photo is used. The site will have the model releases on file that the photographer will provide. The man on my next book Lord Carabas came from Photostock and the boat behind him as well, then the cover artist used a program to blend the elements and put the text on. http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/2053/lordcarabassmllrpn8.jpg

Twice the Cowboy was the same... although we just decided to use the cowboy and nothing else because he was soooooo nice.

A very good looking cover! I like it (although the model is blonde, I just say, not my type...). You are fortunate, your covers are always yummy, and respect the book. I have in mind a cover of J.L. Langley, those for the ebook version of The Tin Star (book I found very romantic): it is a cover created with a pc program, and, sincerely, it is not very good. Fortunately, when they print the books, change the cover: the new cover is absolutelu fantastic and I bought the book only for it!

There are publishers I won't submitt to becasue of the computer generated covers.

Yes. But I notice that in the last months Loose Id have changed his type of cover, now are much better (like those of A Red Tainted Silence by Carolyn Gray or A Sure-Fire Cure by Kate Steele, or the yaoi covers for Heaven of Jett Mykles and for Shadow Dancer of Stephanie Burke). And, in effect, all the covers of Emily Veinglory for Loose Id are beautiful. On the other hand the cover of Changeling Press are ugly... I buy the books, cause some authors I like write for them, but not always post the news release... the cover for the last book of Kate Steele, Hoosier Werewolf, are very ugly.

BTW what time is it on the other end of the net? here is 23.00 and I'm also reading "Three Day Passes" by Sean Michael. I think I cannot finish it for tonight: I'm on page 130 of 590... but it's a book without a continuing story, it is like single episode, like a tv fiction. Very funny indeed: more sex, less talk.

Here are the problems with communications within continents... Finally I went to sleep and didn't see your answer this morning. No, if from your part of the net are 3.00 p.m., and from my part 11.00 p.m, there are 8 hours of difference. I'm 8 hour ahead, so if you want to say something in the future, ask! :-))))
