Astonishing. Brownworth is absolutely certain that a woman cannot write a story about gay men and attacked anyone who dared suggest she might be mistaken--including you--yet she's willing to publish the POV of a teenage girl written by a gay man writing.

I agree with Erastes. You are far more tolerant than I would be.

I wish Mr. Herren all the best with his book... even though, if I remember, he supported Brownworth's tirade all the way. Perhaps he's discovered that one doesn't need ovaries to write a girl.
