Hey friendlist, if don't hear from me often in the next few days, you will know why... I will be at Matera, at the WFF 2007. Here is the program (I will let you know every interesting details after I will be back home)

WOMEN'S FICTION FESTIVAL 2007 SPEAKING OF LOVE

“Do you want me to tell you something subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it. It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.” Erica Jong

Love in all its guises and permutations. Sex, passion, romance, bittersweet solitude, sweeping, gripping emotions.

The Fourth International Women’s Fiction Festival in 2007 focuses on fiction with a heart, stirring novels that inspire hopes and dreams, a journey into the soul of women’s fiction...

THE DREAM MACHINE
The Women’s Fiction Festival opens its doors to every expression of love. Books, yes, but more. Images, voices, sounds. Love that can be felt and seen. Best selling authors, internationally-renowned screenwriters, scriptwriters and playwrights, editors, agents and directors all speak of love in a thousand different languages. A feast for all the senses. Our guests: Giulia Carcasi, Alessandra Casella, Rachelle Chase, Lucia Corna, Francesca Del Rosso, Phil Doran, Kate Holden, Beatrix Kramlovsky, Rosemary Laurey, Loredana Lipperini, Federico Moccia, Maria Daniela Raineri, Anna Pacifico, Ann Roth, Kay Rush, Alessandra Tedesco, Barbara Samuel, Gabriella Saracco, Lina Wertmuller, Dorothy Zinn.

THE WRITERS’ CONFERENCE
ONE ON ONE APPOINTMENTS – WORKSHOPS AND MASTER CLASSES
Conference attendees will have the opportunity to discuss their works with editors of the world’s leading publishing houses and with famous literary agents in one on one appointments. The conference features workshops and master classes on writing and on the marketplace. Our guests: Alessandra Bazardi, Carole Blake, Katherine Cobain, Luisa Colicchio, Kylee Doust,  Chiara Ferrari, Eleonora Gandini, Raelene Gorlinsky, Michaela Kenklies,  Almut Elisabeth Moench, Katharine Sands, Hilary Sares, Karin Stoecker, Christine Witthohn.

BRIEFINGS FOR THRILLER WRITERS
The 2007 Women’s Fiction Festival again will offer the unique ‘Briefings for Thriller Writers’ program consisting of seminars given by the world’s best crime experts to provide your thriller, crime novel or murder mystery with the dense, accurate detail today’s crime novels require.

THEATRICAL POETRY LAB
BODY OF LOVE (Only in italian)
The theatrical poetry laboratori ‘Body of Love’, is another course offered by the Women’s Fiction Festival together with the CINEFABRICA Association of Matera. This course is a welcome addition to the other courses, in order to round out the forms of expression of gripping emotions. Body of Love is a voyage into forms of theatrical expression using the body and poetry as the media to explore space and emotion and as a way to learn to work with others to learn to move your body in harmony with other bodies. Movement becomes words and words become movement. Poetry is expressed by gestures, actions and movements, imagination brought to life.

THE FESTIVAL
Against the stunning cityscape of Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Women’s Fiction Festival organizes fascinating panels and round tables with best-selling authors and world-renowned directors in a friendly and informal setting.
The Festival’s public events are held in beautiful historic buildings and in sun-drenched piazzas. Our Happy Hour is a wonderful way for the reading public and journalists to mingle with the authors, a delightful way to gain insight into the fascinating world of books and movies.
