I think Skylar Sinclair believes in the fast and soon theory. I have read a book by her in the past, and it was a good story, but very short. And now this one: a good plot that I have finished in a blurr and in the end I have the feeling to have missed something. Maybe it's not a lack, maybe it means that she manages to tell us all we needed in less than 80 pages, but when I find a good story, I desire to remain with the characters for some more time.

Daimon is a thirty something undercover agent and gay. And he has just made a huge mistake in his private life, having a one night stand with the major's son (without the authorization of the major...). So he is chosen for a very delicate and not regular assignment: he has to find his way to the bed of Jefferson Bartel, a fifty handsome business man with a preference for younger and well built man (like Daimon) and with probably not so legal connections with the Mafia. But when Daimon meets Jefferson, his cover is immediately blown away (one of the too soon and too fast aspect of the book) and he is put in front of a choice: two weeks with Jefferson during the which he can dig on Jefferson's past meanwhile Jefferson will do everything he wants with Daimon's body...

Skylar Sinclair has a very heavy foot on the sexual part. She is very graphic and very explicit. I don't know, maybe in a longer book, that aspect would have been diluited by the story. To summarize, I have enjoyed the book, but I think it deserves some pages more.

All right, sometime you need to read something totally light. And Carol Lynne's books are your choice. I know before starting to read, that I will find a lot of funny sex and two horny males. It's so, and I want no more.

This is a rather short story. Daylon is a werewolf who happens to be the mate of another male werewolf. They are grown together in a little town founded by a pack one hundred years ago and where has never happened to have a gay couple. Plus Eli, Daylon's mate, is the next in line to be alpha of the pack, and his due is to marry and have cubs to keep on with the descendent line. So Daylon has chosen to go away and to allow to Eli to marry. But now, fifteen years later, Daylon has not yet found another mate and is returned to claim his own true mate. And also Eli, who has divorced six years before for the same reason, is willing to finally consolidate their bond in private but also in front of all the pack.

According to the author, Eli and Daylon are 35 years old, more or less. According to how she describes them, I feel them more like twenty something, more or less. They are hungry of sex and eager like two iperactive puppies. In less than 50 pages I can't have a real opinion on the two, but I have liked very much the scene where they are in wolf form, and Eli protects his mate. Very tender, and even if not at all about sex, very sensual.
