Barbara Miller, alias Laurel Ames, now teaches in the Writing Popular Fiction graduate program at Seton Hill University and is Reference Librarian at Mount Pleasant Free Public Library where she teaches a writing program to teens. She has published historical romances and mysteries for Harlequin and Sonnet, self-published contemporary romantic mysteries and young adult books, and is now writing Regencies for Cerridwen Press. She lives in a creepy old farmhouse with her husband, a pack of unruly dogs and guppies too numerous to count (a heron recently ate 1 of the 3 koi in the ponds.)

After many years in the technical writing field, Barbara Miller built a career as a writer of Regency-set historicals under the name Laurel Ames. Oddly enough, much of her material is drawn from her experiences with horses and sheep on her farm in Western PA. The series of eight mysteries from Weavers Old Stand Press also draws heavily on farm memories, as do the Georgie books for younger readers. She is secretary of the long-standing Greensburg Writers Group, and a member of the program committee of Ligonier Valley Writers for which she presents many workshops. Book publications include twelve historical romances for Harlequin and Pocket Books and nine locally-set mysteries. She has also published four middle-grade books. Recent releases include Music Master, Two Hearts and Eye Walker from Cerridwen Press and a ninth Falls Bend Mystery called Shallow Graves.

I know, I know that posting these pictures some of my friends will say that Sean is too feminine, that it's strange to see male models dressed and posed as female models, but from what I know, Sean only follows what the fashion dictates and if the fashion says that a model has to be dressed in furs and flowers, who am I to be against it? And then Sean in furs and flowers is soo cute...

Sean Richard O'Pry (born July 5, 1989) is an American male model from Kennesaw, Georgia who was the face of fashion house Calvin Klein for several seasons and is best known for being GQ's Man of the Season in late 2007.

He is currently the second most successful male model in the world behind Mathias Lauridsen on models.com list of the Top 50 international male models, as of January 2009. In early 2008, he was named the world's eighth most successful male model of all time by Forbes publications. He is best known for his pillowed lips and hooded blue eyes.

In 2006, the 17-year-old O'Pry was discovered from his prom photos on MySpace by Nolé Marin, fashion-editor of ELLE magazine (US). Before his discovery, in April of 2006, Bert Hamilton photographed O'Pry, who he found from Sean's profile on the popular modelling networking site: http://www.modelmayhem.com.

Over two years later, O'Pry has featured in numerous advertising campaigns (Joop S/S 09, H&M S/S 09, Lacoste S/S 09, Giorgio Armani F/W 08, Trussardi F/W 08) and editorials for: Dazed & Confused (Fashion Forward_Dior Homme by Mariano Vivanco), Interview (Paris Nights by Anthony Maule), V Man (Suit Yourself by David Sherry), Numéro Homme (Le Grand Jeu by Greg Kadel), L’Officiel Hommes (Fur’ious by Milan Vukmirovic), GQ Style Russia (Sean by Arnaldo F/W 08 by Arnaldo Anaya Luca), Details Magazine (Graphic Content by David Armstrong).

He was on the cover of GQ Style, Spring/Summer 07, by Phil Poynter, and GQ Style Russia, Fall/Winter 08, by by Arnaldo Anaya Luca. He also appears in ads and editorials for Calvin Klein, Dolce & Gabbana, Gianfranco Ferré, Marc Jacobs, Dsquared2, American Eagle, Bottega Veneta, Fendi, GQ, Barneys, Belstaff, D2, Arena, and Diesel.

His runway credentials include opening Versace, Yves Saint Laurent, Givenchy and Salvatore Ferragamo, and closing Moschino, Trussardi and Zegna.

O'Pry is good friends with fellow models Eddie Klint and Vincent LaCrocq. His interests include football and lacrosse.
