Hedi Slimane is a very good fashion photographer and in the last year she did two different editorial, one with male Super-Models (SUPER-MODELS, Vogue Hommes International, Spring/Summer 2009), those men who left their name in a world, the fashion industry, that usually is the kingdom of female models, and the other editorial (Waiting in the Wings, VMan magazine, Fall/Winter 2009) with the "next" name of the English movie industry. It's strange, but the feeling of the two editorials is almost the same, the only difference is those age lines around the eyes of the vintage men.

Christian Louis Cooke (born 15 September 1986) in Leeds, West Yorkshire) is an English actor, known for playing Luke Kirkwall in Where the Heart Is, Luke Rutherford in Demons and Dorian Gaudain in Trinity. Cooke began his acting career at the age of 10 when he appeared in a production of Bedazzled at the Bingley Arts Centre. His first television appearance was in a commercial for Birds Eye beef burgers. Cooke played the role of Luke Kirkwall from 2000 to 2006 in the ITV drama Where the Heart Is. He has also guest starred in Doctors, The Royal, Casualty and George Gently. He starred in one episode of the BBC's Robin Hood as Will Scarlett's younger brother, Luke Scarlett. Cooke also appeared in BBC One's The Chase and played Brae Marrack in the ITV1 soap opera Echo Beach. He guest starred in the 2008 Doctor Who episodes "The Sontaran Stratagem" and "The Poison Sky", playing UNIT soldier Ross Jenkins, who is killed off in the later episode. In early 2009, he played the lead role of Luke Rutherford in ITV1 supernatural drama Demons. Cooke has recently appeared in ITV2's eight part drama Trinity, where he had several rear nude scenes in the first episode. He will also play the role of Freddie in the forthcoming Cemetery Junction (2010).

“I head a documentary and a production company, Caltana Creative. I spent a lot, gave it away, lent it. I’ve made mistakes in business, lost money in stocks. I love travelling, taking friends with me, and partying. I bought tons of gadgets and musical instruments. It was my thing. The Dim underwear ad, where I was naked in an apartment – that was the high point. People went crazy. I remember cinema audiences going bananas when it came on. Sex life is a dream! (laughs). There were loads of gorgeous women. But in between more long-term relationships.”

Burberry's creative director Christopher Bailey calls him 'an exceptionally talented young guy who we feel is going to be a huge star. He has a really modern British look and style... he's also down-to-earth and a pleasure to be around.' The 17-year-old is currently working on projects by Oscar winners Julian Fellowes and Tony and Ridley Scott. As a result, comparisons with Twilight star Robert Pattinson are already being made. 'If someone came along and said, "Take this pill and you'll be as famous as Robert Pattinson," I wouldn't say no, but I'd think about it first. It's a lovely place to be but it's also scary. He's commanding double-digit millions after just a couple of big movies. The whole of the teenage girl population, including my girlfriend and my sister and all their friends, is captivated by him. I'm sure he captivates lots of boys as well.' Luke Antony Treadaway (born 10 September 1984) is an English actor, best known for appearing in the film Brothers of the Head. Treadaway was brought up in Sandford, near Crediton, Devon with his father, an architect, his mother, a primary school teacher, and two brothers - his slightly younger twin Harry and their older brother Sam, an artist. He attended Queen Elizabeth's Community College in Crediton. As a young teenager he played the guitar in a band called Lizardsun which he formed with Harry, as well as Matt Conyngham and Seth Campbell. As a child, he was a member of the National Youth Theatre, for whom he played Prince Ivan in The Firebird. He was also in the ensemble for a production of Murder in the Cathedral. While still at drama school, he and his twin brother recorded roles in their first feature film: Brothers of the Head, in which they played conjoined twins. Luke played Barry Howe, the band's singer, and his brother Harry played Tom Howe, the guitarist and song-writer. During rehearsals and throughout the shoot, Luke and Harry were connected to each other for fifteen hours a day, wearing sewn-together wetsuits or a harness. “I’ve give up acting to concentrate on my courses at the School of Fine Arts in Zurich. I attended an audition with Universal organized by Drew Barrymore for the role of Robin in Batman. A Los Angeles queen of casting told me I had talent, but that I was too nervous, unstable and lonely, and I didn’t think to ask her to give me the time to work on it. That was really dumb of me. There was a real sense of the brotherhood among all those male models – like a mythical family. I wanted to set up a labour union so that we could control prices, but I didn’t manage it.”

This is really only a scene, less than 20 pages, but it manages to be above the average of the short stories not being “light”. Even if apparently the only purpose is to tell us the “naughty” meeting of a Scribe with a slave out of the boundaries of society, there are a lot of details that make it something more.

Apparently a light story about two young men who find each other and love together, As Above, So Below is also the telling of two different coming outs, welcomed in two different ways, but both of them with the same result, the loss of what was family till the day before and the need to build your new safe shelter in the arms of your lover.
