1 year ago, in June 2009, I joined the Referrals Program with different sellers (Amazon, 1 Romance Ebooks, ...); this allowed me to see what people went to browse after leaving my LiveJournal. It was an interesting experience, above all since I noticed that my friends are quite a brainy group, more the book was particular, out of the ordinary track, and more they were interested in it. Then of course they were also interested in all the coffe table books I posted about, so food for the mind but also for the body ;-)

Some books were meteors, only 1 month in the list, some others appeared month after month. I decided to post the yearly Top List so that you can better understand the trend, and of course, find out a title that maybe you missed in the past year. Congrats to all the authors, I'd love to post all of them, but it would be really a HUGE list; to allow a better browsing I divided it in Fiction and Non Fiction (i.e. art books and movies).

Violet Tendencies and Role / Play are almost there to be release to the big audience, and so it's time to adopt another "baby". Matthew Montgomery has a new movie in production, and asked to spread the world, and so here I am ;-):

"“FINDING MR. WRIGHT” is an hysterical romantic comedy starring MATTHEW MONTGOMERY as Clark Townsend, an ambitious, serious-minded talent manager who is forced to attend a wilderness therapy retreat weekend to save his disastrous, Hollywood-starlet (played by REBEKAH KOCHAN) client’s career, who has no clue he is about to fall unexpectedly head over heels for her new, awkward, fun-loving life-coach, Pearce Wright (played by David Moretti). Award winning Producer, Nancy Criss is attached to direct the film. Scribed by Jake Helgren. Principal photography is expected to commence in early fall 2010 in the Los Angeles area.

Over the past 10 years, Matthew Montgomery has garnered a cult-like following of loyal, enthusiastic fans for his work in films such as Gone But Not Forgotten; the romantic comedy Long-Term Relationship; the supernatural drama Back Soon (which earned him the Best Actor Award from FilmOut San Diego); and the sci-fi thriller Socket. His upcoming films include Redwoods, PORNOGRAPHY – A Thriller (scheduled for a summer 2010 release) and Flight of the Cardinal (scheduled for a 2010 release). Montgomery has just been nominated for the 2010 Best Open Gay Actor in a film or television series by the 2010 TLA Gaybies Awards.

We have decided to make a film where the fans can give their input, suggest cast and be more involved in the independent film-making process and even find themselves in the film. Let’s not forget the bragging rights to their friends to say they were part of a Hollywood movie.

We are giving fans and supporters the chance to be part of our film through several different options. You will get your name in the film’s “Special Thanks” credits, a “FINDING MR. WRIGHT” T-Shirt and a copy of the DVD when it is ready and the possibility of even coming to Hollywood.

Production on FINDING MR. WRIGHT begins in July 2010, and the film festival run will start shortly after that.

From the cast and crew, we cannot thank you enough for your interest and your support of FINDING MR. WRIGHT and the true spirit of independent film-making! Be sure to join us as a fan on facebook:
