Then Sawyer Happened by Hurri Cosmo
Publisher: Dark Hollows Press
Amazon Kindle: Then Sawyer Happened

Blurb: Trace is nursing a broken heart. He lost his job, his boyfriend of two years was cheating on him, and his apartment building burned right to the ground with all his worldly possessions. It was time for Trace to get out of Minnesota.
So Trace heads for Texas and Riven Creek Ranch, the horse farm his aunt Lois owns. But hours before he arrives, Lois is in a terrible car accident that nearly takes her life, and Trace finds himself in charge of the ranch kitchen. Sounds simple enough and it's the least he can do for his recuperating aunt.
Then Sawyer happens.
Sawyer is his aunt's big, beautiful, muscle bound, incredibly sexy straight ranch manager. Someone who has no clue Trace is gay. And meeting the big man should have been okay, except it was in the middle of his aunt's kitchen at five in the morning and Trace was nearly naked. Embarrassing? Yep. But the very next day Trace proceeded to ramp up his embarrassment by quantum leaps when he nearly sets his aunt's house on fire and the brooding Sawyer has to come to the rescue.
Seems like Trace's "luck" followed him.
Not to mention that Aunt Lois's "accident" was actually attempted murder. And now, they just might want Trace dead, too.
Can Trace figure out who's behind the attempts on his aunt's life AND keep Sawyer from finding out he's hot for the cowboy?
He probably can’t. But he’s going to try.

Meet the author: Hurri Cosmo lives in Minnesota where she holds tight to the idea that there, where it’s cold a good part of the year, she won’t age as fast. Yep, she avoids the truth as much as she avoids mirrors. But one of the reasons she loves writing is reality doesn’t always offer up a “happily ever after” and being able to take control of that is a powerful lure. Being a happy ending junkie, writing just makes them easier to find. Oh, she doesn’t mind “real life” and she does try to at least keep it in mind when she writes her stories, but she truly loves creating a wonderful couple, knowing they will fall in love and have their HEA. Every - single - time. And, of course, that is exactly the reason she loves reading this genre, too. Give her a glass of red wine, some dark chocolate, and her computer, whether she is reading or writing, and she will entertain herself for hours. The fact she actually gets paid to do it is Snickers bars on the frosting on the cake.

1) What are your ambitions for your writing career?
First and foremost, to continue. I feel that I am growing and learning with every new book I finish. I have a ton of ideas and more come to me all the time so I will probably never have enough time in my life to write every book I want to. But in particular I do have a short term goal. To finish a story my late sister “wrote” in time for my mom to see it in print. I have started it. But my mom is sick now. Terminally, if we listen to the doctors. It sounds like I don’t have a ton of time. Right now, my biggest goal for my writing would be to get that done.

2) How many published books do you have? Can you tell us something about them?
I want to say 19 at the moment, soon to be twenty. But in a few short weeks it will be back down to five. A publisher of mine is closing at the end of the month taking 15 of my books off the market until I can either find a home for them, (some of them again) or self-pub them OR just let them die. What are they? All are M/M right now. As far as breaking those down into more categories, I have fantasy, SciFi, contemporary and westerns. So pretty much all over the board. Except more than two “M”’s. I don’t have any of those. 

3) Your main character wants to cook something special for his love interest. What does he make?
In this book Trace would make Texas BBQ complete with loaded potato salad, sweet baked beans, and warm, fresh out of the over apple pie.

4) What are you working on at the moment? What’s it about?
Like I said, the romance my late sister wrote a basic synopsis for prior to passing away. I want to finish it for her and get it into print for my mom who is very sick. But other than that I have several WIP. “Ghost Wolf Chronicles”, about a wolf who can turn invisible and must solve a mystery concerning who is killing all the wolves. “The Boy Next Door” which is about a young man named Brandon who moves in with his grandmother to escape an abusive lover. Next door to her lives a man named Victor who is very “well-armed”, to the point Brandon thinks the man just might be a terrorist. But as time goes on Victor slowly wins Brandon over. Unfortunately Brandon has a dark secret, one that his abusive ex-boyfriend knows and when he shows up on Brandon’s doorstep and learns he has a relationship with Victor, he is hell bent on making sure Victor knows what he might be getting into. Now Brandon isn’t sure if the arsenal Victor has will be used to save him…or kill him.
And of course I have the promised sequels to “The Door Keeper” and “The Astral Mage” and also the promise to bring “Mates, Inc.” and “Hyden’s Law” together in another sequel.

5) Do you aim for a set amount of words/pages per day?
I try but sometimes life doesn’t allow it. I do sit down with my computer every day and get something done. Sometimes it is simply re-reading and tweaking what I already wrote the day before or doing some research, but I do work every day. Usually it is early in the morning, like five AM, especially on the weekends, because usually no one is up and it is quiet.
