Alias

"Lovely read, and I usually hate first person. Stellar job."

" Once again, Hunter doesn't disappoint. If you're looking for a well-written, thrilling mystery with fully drawn characters, an exciting plot, plus a marvelous Welsh setting, this book is for you."

"A solid entry by an excellent writer. Lots of tension, mystery, romance. First-rate performance on all levels."

A car lies crashed below a Welsh mountain road. One of the young women inside it is dead, the other badly injured, with no memory of who she is or what just happened. All she has is a bus pass showing her photograph and a name she doesn’t recognise.

As she struggles to recover from her injuries, a startling revelation shatters everything she thought she knew, forcing her into an uneasy alliance with Detective Bronwen Pryce. With danger closing in from all sides, the two women must work together to uncover the truth—even if it kills them.

Redemption Story

"A stunning work of sparkling dialog, dark plot themes and character development that shines a soft light into the dark corners of damaged psyches trying to survive. The female protagonist, and her “salvation galpal” live in a world that, if it notices them, doesn’t want them, and if it acknowledges them at all, it is to demean, detain and destroy. The author’s grasp of these damaged souls and psyches is too on point to be an accident, too seductive to ignore and too beautifully drawn to be anything other than a master’s gentle understanding of fragile lives hardened by the world and bruised hearts that rarely open…until they do."

A story of one woman's journey from darkness to light. From being on a dead-end road in life to having the world open up to her. Iris never tells us much about her past other than that she clearly has not had an easy life and either bad luck, bad choices, or a combination of the two, have left her adrift and committing crimes to get by. Then she meets Kira: a lightning ride with an uneasy moral compass culminating in self-discovery.
