Drama Runway (Nicky and Noah Mysteries #10) by Joe Cosentino
Joe Cosentino pens a snappy, topical, and thoroughly delightful pastiche of Dashiell Hammett’s Nick and Nora Charles in The Thin Man. How he keeps the quips and digs coming is amazing. The whodunnit might be a little strained, but the cast of broadly cliched characters and Cosentino’s adjective slinging keep the action sizzling. This book shouldn’t work, but it does.
