Forsaken Fae (The Complete Series, Books 1-3) by R.A. Steffan

An interesting overall story arc is paired with two snarky protagonists and an ever-changing cast of secondary characters. Told from the POV of a human, the fantasy characters are never quite as well developed or nuanced. Fast and furious pacing keeps the story moving.

Whatever He Needs by Mia Kerick

The author has provided a very real sense of place for her characters to inhabit, and the story proceeds at a pace that keeps the reader engaged.
