Bite Me (2021)

 I liked Bite Me for the aesthetic but nothing more; the story could have been interesting, with the delivery boy being a genius chef who can compete with the already accomplished chef. But let's say that this series had everything right, but didn't use it in the right way. Setting was good, cinematography was gorgeous, actors were nice, but when you mixed all it up, it came out flat and a little boring. HEA. You can see it on Viki. Heat Level: 2/6.

Deal Lover (2021)

 In the first episode Deal Lover gave me hopes, but sincerely, it didn't delivered what I was expecting. There is a common thrope I have found in BL Thai series, i.e. the homophobic relative, usually the sister like in this case. This character is ruining the enjoyment of the series, and the cuteness of the main actors is not enough to overcome the uneasiness of that thrope. Moreover the story is really centered around Din and Milan, and since I really do not like Milan's character, it's easily explained why I didn't enjoy this series. HEA. Heat Level: 1/6.

Hometown's Embrace (2021)

 Hometown's Embrace, again set in Northern Thai, a countryland, is sort of bad, I was wondering how they can put together a bloody scene where they kill innocent villagers, with a sexy scene of an hot boy taking a shower in the open... And the ad placement right in that moment was also disconcerting. I'm not sure if they wanted the effect like that, sort of giving you the bad and soon after the good... to me it was like, what the heck I'm seeing? Anyway, the plot is quite unrealistic, the three couples are just eye candy material, and so, if you want to enjoy them, you can try this one. It made me remember the spot of Abercrombie & Fitch, when they wanted to sell clothes and showed you a completely naked man taking a shower... HEA. Heat Level: 4/6.

Sakashita Izumi, your typical straight high school student, gets into a sticky situation with a gay translator, Takamiya Katsura, when he gets mistaken for Izumi - an escort from B&B (Blue Boy)! The two go on a date, Takamiya goes all the way with the young Izumi, and now the older man's in love with him. Tiny Problem: Izumi is slightly homophobe. Will he eventually convert in that which he fears?

Reiji, owner of B&B and other sleazy clubs (and seemingly not gay) finds out his girlfriend had been cheating on him - just after dumping her. He bumps into a young, family-less, money-less, trustless high school named Naoya who at that moment gets knocked out by a pot that Reiji's vengeful ex-lover drops on his head. Reiji accompanies the young boy, feeling bad that this is partly his doing, only to find that now Naoya is homeless since his apartment burned down and finally ends up taking in this "stray cat".
