Cooking Crush (2023)

 I had great expectations for Cooking Crush, the open song is catchy, the dishes they showcase are gorgeous, and the main couple, Ten/Off and Prem/Gun is a favorite of the BL series... but Cooking Crush is essentially boring. There are some silly jokes that did not make me love, the romance between Prem and Ten is very slow, and when it blossoms, it's sort of, OK it's all here? I'm not saying that I want firecrakers or bed of roses, but we are talking of two adults here, and they behave like middle schooler. So, for me, lost opportunity. HEA. You can see it on WeTV. With Love (2019)

 With Love was a little bit confusing, maybe they tried to put together too much content in just one series. Of the 4 couples, Prin & Nathee, Thann & Kavin, Kun & Parfun and Kaowkla & Plod, the only one that sparked interested was Thann & Kavin, maybe because it was the one with a past, and therefore a little more consistent. Aside from them, I think the other were just sketched and never developed. HEA. Heat Level: 3/6.

Candy and Kiss (2015)

 Candy and Kiss was a cute movie. Maybe it was a little moody in the middle, but I really liked Yagii Haruhisa's character and how he was able to make Maeda Taiki feel loved and safe. Maeda is not really ugly, he is just very unsecure, and he needs someone like Yagii, who is very steady, quiet and confident. I liked this one, for a Japanese movie made in 2015, it was surprisingly happy. HEA. Heat Level: 4/6.

Color Recipe by Harada

Shoukichi is a failing hairstylist who struggles to attract customers due to his unwelcoming personality. One day, he is insulted by a beautiful man named Fukusuke, who turns out to be a renowned stylist and Shoukichi's new coworker. The two constantly clash at work; Shoukichi keeps up his stern, professional attitude, whilst Fukusuke dominates the salon with his charming, silver-tongued ways.

When an incident results in Fukusuke missing his last train home, Shoukichi lets him spend the night at his house out of pity. However, he wakes up in the middle of the night to find Fukusuke inappropriately pleasuring himself over his face. Disgusted at the suave man's assault, Shoukichi's hatred for Fukusuke only intensifies.

Despite the tension between them, Shoukichi finds himself growing fond of his absurd colleague after Fukusuke saves him from an unsavory encounter. With his heart clouded by confusion, Shoukichi must decide whether to trust Fukusuke or stay alert for any hidden sinister motives.
