I want to start saying that I like Deep Night, but it also puzzled me... the story revolves around a Host Club in Bangkok, now maybe the host clubs in Thailand are different from those in Japan (Japanese yaoi mangas have sort of idealized host clubs), but I don't think so. Host Clubs are maybe a little more classier than stripping joints, but I don't think they are like they presented us in Deep Night... more than an Host Club, Deep Night seemed like the Las Vegas venues of The Cirque of Soleil. So an innocent viewer could believe sex was not involved, but that will not explain why Khemthis is jealous of Wela... Anyway, long blabbering to say that the prostitution topic is not faced front, but they just took the road of everyone know what is happening, so we will not explain furthermore. Said that, Khemthis and Wela are cute, their story is more fluffier than expected, their chemistry is good, the love story is nicely built, intimacy is there, not too much, not too low, sexy enough, less skin than expected. There was just one thing that I think it was the most awkard sexy scene I have ever seen in a BL drama: the final love scene, when everything is explained and everyone is happy it was... a handjob! Really, I had to look at it two time to be sure of what I was seeing, and yes, it was a handjob... never before I laughed so much for a love scene... HEA. You can see it on iQIYI. Heat Level: 5/6.

Heat Level:
1/6: glances, caress, hugs, no kisses
2/6: kisses, closed mouth or camera angles
3/6: full kisses, clothes on
4/6: full kisses, some clothes off, hands above the waist, pants stay on
5/6: most clothes off, they have sex, but it’s masked, no sexy sounds
6/6: full nudity mostly hidden by camera angles, they have sex, sexy sounds

As far as romantic first encounters go, meeting in a high-class brothel isn't typical. Gerard becomes Jacques' first and last patron, when he buys freedom for the boy after sleeping with him. However, Gerard gives Jacques a challenge--can a spoiled child of the nobility survive on his own and earn his living without selling his body? Jacques rises to the challenge, and ends up as Gerard's houseboy, doing manual labor. Gradually he begins to see that Gerard is not quite the savage he first thought, but will this revelation lead to something more?
