I Hear the Sunspot (2024)

 Already in Silhouette of Your Voice, the Japanese movie that was made out of this manga, you could understand this was not your typical BL drama. I Hear the Sunspot is 12 episodes, and I think the first two, more or less, are the same timeline of the movie, and then it's all new material. It's the tale of a friendship between Kohei and Taichi; you can easily understand that Kohei has deeper feelings for Taichi, but Taichi needs time, a LOT of time, to understand that those feelings are reciprocated. I like that, despite the fact there is not physical intimacy between them, the feelings are plenty conveyed and you can clearly see them. There is not even a kiss between them, even if there is a declaration... it could be seen as strange, but it's indeed in line with the mood of the story. Sweet, sweet story, strangely for a Japanese drama it has 12 episode (indeed the manga is a multivolume opera). HEA. You can see it on GagaOOLala. Heat Level: 1/6.
