Love in the Air: Koi no Yokan (2024)

 The Japanese version of Love in the Air is not bad, probably if I hadn't see the Thai original, I would have considered it even better. For example, the physicality of the character, in the case of Storm and Rain, is better suited, Storm is "rough" and on the edge, and that is saying a lot for a Japanese man (I really cannot consider a Japanese man rough, they have always have this innate delicacy). Then there is the fact they mixed the event, and that made it a little disconcerning for who knows well the original plot, but in a way it was not bad, since the two stories, Storm and Rain, and Sky and Prapai are more interconnected, and you arrive at the last episode with all four of them still main characters. At the end I would recommend to whom has not seen the Thai version to give this one a try, it's indeed good. If you are a fan of the Thai version, maybe you will be disappointed. HEA. Love Can Sometime Start with the Wrong Person (2024)

 Love Can Sometime Start with the Wrong Person is a nice short movie (it was actually aired like a series of 29 episodes of 3 minutes each). It's about a couple of twins, one of them is in a dead end relationship with a cute guy, and is not able to break up with him, therefore decides to ask to his "bad boy" twin to do it for him. Problem is that the bad boy is not bad at all, and of course he falls in love at first sight for the cute boyfriend. The movie is really a slapstick comedy, there is not much plot, and basically no drama. It is very high on the sugary and fluffy, and you have no worry that there will be an happy end. The two boys are cute, I would like to understand how they are able to survive, since none of them apparently has a job, but well, as I said, plot is not the strenght of this movie. If you want to spend one hour and half without thinking, recommended... plus there is a even cuter red cat! (proudly servant of a red cat here). HEA. Heat Level: 2/6.
