The Boy Next World (2025)
Mar. 10th, 2025 07:20 pm I'm biased since I really love Boss Chaikamon, so I cannot say that The Boy Next World is not good, but aside for my bia for Boss, there is also the fact that it was a long time that I wasn't able to see a Thai drama from beginning to start without skipping something. And instead I watched the whole drama, 10 episodes, in just two sessions (over the weekend). I spoiled myself the story since I have read the book, but I have to say that my enjoyment was the same, even if I knew the thrope (and no, I will not say it 
), the acting of the whole casting, supporting characters included, was both good and light, meaning there was drama, but there was also a lot of comedy, and that balance was nice. Let's say that I also enjoyed the smut, even if it was a little too much, meaning not so romantic and maybe too much sexy... it was like that also in the book, but both main characters, for different reasons, didn't seems so sexy. This is probably the first time where I say the sexy scenes were superflueous (and no, I'm not a prude, Love in the Air, without sex, is nothing, here the characters didn't call for that level of intimacy). Anyway, I liked it, probably will not put it on replay like LITA, but for sure better than many other Thai drama out there. HEA. You can see it on iQIYI. Heat Level: 5/6.
