Date: 2006-12-09 06:10 pm (UTC)Very interesting there, and I do love seeing pictures from places I've never been. As an American, I am entrance by structures that were built long long. Just a different mindset too--when we were in Hamburg (when I visited Nick there in October) we were in the Hamburg train station and he commented that it was a pretty new one--I said oh? When was it built? "1906" was the answer. LOL!! To me that was forever ago. :)

But it is not a street but a medieval monastery. In Romania, in the Bucovina County, there are many monastery, decorated on the outside walls. They are universal patrimony of UNESCO.
