Mel Odom, more modern than ever
Nov. 10th, 2011 11:14 pmI have already posted about awesome former cover illustrator and Gene Marshall's fashion designer, Mel Odom here: http://elisa-rolle.livejournal.com/762380.html. Aside from being the cover artist of The Lost Library, rightly 2010 Rainbow Awards Best Cover, he is also the artist of:

Original: Mouth to Mouth or Arrangement, 1979, Blueboy Magazine
pretty modern, isn't it? Probably other like me thought the same since look here:

“The Myth Of Hero’s” is the latest cover story of Vogue Hommes Japan, for their Fall/Winter 2011/12 issue. The edit was captured by Branislav Jankic and styled by Nicola Formichetti. And few weeks later, again:

GLAM October 2011, model Danny Lim, styled by Cheah Wei Chun.
But that above is not the only interpretation of Mel Odom's awesome art in that magazine:

Original: The Red Kiss, 1989, Lithograph on paper, 37" x 28", Private collection

Original: Carnivorous Lamb (cover)
