Scott Andrew Taylor probably is one of the most used icon on LJ, his photo by shoulders with that belt... well let me say that I see it a lot around. But how many of you know that it's Scott on that pic and that the shot is by Dylan Rosser? So today I decided to post about Scott, since he also seems a very nice guy, and I read only good things about him, from photographers and fellow models alike (and if another model says that a colleague is good, well he must be really good!)

Scott AndrewTaylor, 21 years old from Derby, London, is a Personal Trainer, Fitness Professional & Spin Instructor with a kickboxing, basketball and swimming background.

Scott used the word determined to describe himself and he believes in what Bruce Lee said "life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster man, but sooner or later the man who wins is the one who thinks he can." This quote had helped Scott a lot with regards to his self esteem and had been a guide to his personal life and career.

"In order to succeed in this field you need to have a high amount of self esteem, confidence and marketing. You need to choose the right photographers in order to get the high standard of images you need to be successful. You are only as good as your worst picture."

"I am very keen in fitness and I weight train 5 times per week and teach indoor cycling classes between 2 and 4 times per week on top of my job as a fitness trainer. I model when I can get the time to travel and spend a day at a photoshoot."

"As I’ve not been modelling for long, I don't have much input on this question, but I shall say for aspiring models, networking is the best move that you take to move forward and be in the right direction. It will not hurt to talk to other models and photographers and ask them for advise. It is all about learning through both your own experience and the experience of others."

"The hardest experience I've come across in modelling so far was my first photoshoot as I didn't quite know what to expect, but I adapted to it quickly and the shoot went very well."

"Other people who have already achieved what I intend to do inspires me. It shows that anything can be achieved after all, isn't that the basic human fact? If you want to achieve success in life, you've got to be willing to try, and I try my hardest at everything I do in my work as well as my personal life."

he is nice (pretty is not the right word, cute neither...), he doesn't seem the classical american type, he has something particular in the face. And he is very possent. I checked the site of the photographer, it seems a serious one: it's good there are too much dangers for young boys around. Is he a relative of you? Elisa

New York is a good place for models to be. The more important agencies are there. Good luck to your friend! Elisa
