This is a collection of five episodes on the Pet Series by Nix Winter.

The main characters are Alyx and Tristan. Alyx is a pet, a man born in a community genetically created to be sex toy to the aristocracy. Tristan is a space captain who has lost his pet and his crew thinks to gift him a very special birthday present, Alyx. Alyx's people thinks all aristicrats are gods, but Alyx is not of the same idea and he doesn't want to submit to a master, he is a harper, a musician. But his body betrays him and when he is claimed by Tristan, he can't resist to the sexual hunger.

Valentine is a vampire and Tristan's friends. He pushes Alyx to claim his independence. Poison is Valentine's lover. This is the couple I appreciated less in the series.

Evander is a pirate. He has had many pet in his bed but noone he has taken forever. And then he found Squirrel, a blind pet, but very clever and handsome, and maybe he for the first time has found a pet that can please him in and out of bed.

The Series is very interesting. In the end I was a little lost in all the political details and have skipped some pages to read about the master/slave relationships between the characters. But overall it is a very arousing series, very imaginative. But I have to adivice you: if you don't like the uke/seme relationship, the pleasure/pain lovemaking, this is not your story. It has many and deeply details of forceful sex, and it can be seen has not polically correct.

Eliot is a clandestine immigrate who works as porno star for a x-rate website. He is the main character in a photo story where, week by week, he is beaten and abused. Jake is the photographer and writer of the story and he begins to wander about Eliot: he notices that he has a blank expression while working and he is not an exhibisionist like other actors he has worked with.

And one day the fake scenes goes a little to wild and Jake refuses to continue. But he is knocked out and Eliot brutally beatens. When Jake awakens he has only one thought in mind, brings Eliot somewhere far and safe.

For a very short tale Bryn Colvin has managed to write a wonderful character: Jake, a very common and simple man, not striking and not daring, who becomes the knight in shining armour for Eliot.

It's a very tender and compelling story, very real and touching

This is a very very short tale surely worth af a sequel.

Robard is a pirate that during an attack finds no material treasure but a worthy surprise: Jordan, a medicine student, young, beautiful and innocent. He immediately decides to chose him as his prize and to start from the very first night  his new training as sex slave.

He promises to Jordan that, before the pirate finds his relief in his beautiful body, he will come three times... and in what pleasurably way he makes come his new consort. Maybe here I ask myself about the correctness of the story: is it possible that a nineteen century pirate knews about an enema, and about other kinky games? My historical knowledge not arrive to that point!

This story reminds me a lot another beautiful short novel, The Pirate and the Butcher by Sean Michael.

So, for only twenty pages I have to say it is a very arousing story, I can say I will glady read more about the sexual education of Jordan.

And, as I said for another epublisher, please mind you cover: you can understimate a good piece with an ugly cover.
