Tatsuya is a 26 yd wealthy business man with a purpose: he wants to find his lost stepbrother, Haru. Haru is the son of the second wife of his father, but since he was born, Tatsuya took care for him more like a son than a brother. But one day Haru and his mother disappeared and Tatsuya has never known what happened.

Now Haru, 17 yd, lives alone, the mother remarried more time and finally left him alone. He dropped school and lives jumping from a part time job to another. When he sees Tatsuya in a night club where he works, he immediately recognizes his brother but Tatsuya doesn't recognize him, having lied on his age to have the work and using the surname of his last stepfather.

Tatsuya is immediately draws by Haru and not in a brotherly way. Tatsuya seduces Haru and when the morning after he discovers the truth about their blood relationship, at first tries to keep at distance the boy, but then, when he sees in what poor condition he lives, he resolves to take Haru in with him, like a "brother", even if both believe the other doesn't know the truth.

When all the secrets are unveal, Tatsuya and Haru are convinced that they don't share a blood relationship, since Haru probably is not the true son of Tatsuya's father. But Tatsuya knows better, he knows that Haru shares with him a blood bond, but he can't resolve himself to let the boy go.

The drawning is beatiful, almost ethereal. And the story is pretty angst, not so lighthearted like other yaoi manga, but still is not too dramatic, and even if maybe you cringe a bit to the final decision of Tatsuya, you can also comprehend his resolution.

Janet Anne Haradon Dailey (born May 21, 1944 in Storm Lake, Iowa) is a popular American author of numerous romance novels as Janet Dailey (her married name). In 1979, Dailey became the first romance author to transition from writing category romances to writing single-title romance novels. Her first mass market romance novel, Touch the Wind, reached the New York Times Best Seller List. Her subsequent books have also been New York Times Bestsellers. There are currently over 325 million copies of her books in print, with translations in 19 languages for 98 countries.

Dailey was sued in 1997 by fellow novelist Nora Roberts, who accused Dailey of copying her work for over seven years. Calling the plagiarism "mind rape," Roberts sued Dailey. Dailey acknowledged the theft and blamed it on a psychological disorder. She admitted that both Aspen Gold and Notorious lifted heavily from Roberts's work. Both of those novels were subsequently pulled from print. In a settlement, Dailey paid Roberts an undisclosed sum, which Roberts donated to the Literacy Volunteers of America.

In 2001, Dailey returned to publishing with a four-book deal with Kensington Books.

Moriya works for an advertising agency and he is searching the perfect model for a perfume company. Told be truth, lately Moriya has lost interest in his work, and he is not only searching for a model, he is also searching for a purpose in his life. And when he sees Itsuki, he knows to have found both.

Itsuki is a spoilt young man, almost apathic. He does very little in his life, everything seems to tired him and he speaks even less. But he is perfectly beauty. He almost shines for how beauty he is. And Moriya decides that Itsuki will became his whole life: he will be Itsuki's slave, for all he wants. Itsuki is a strange character: he seems to not be affected by the people around him and to not care for nothing, but he sees everything and even if he doesn't speak, his presence is loud and strong. For how much Moriya works, it's Itsuki that shines in this novel.

But this leads Moriya to grew also a very possessive and protective attitude toward Itsuki, and with it will arrive also jealousy from co-worker and other peoplearound.

The story is good, and the graphic almost linear. Maybe I'd like a bit more of continuity, sometimes I had the feeling to lost track of the event.

There is also a little story inside, The Barbaric Prince, which is almost as interesting as the main story, but pity it's very short.
