The Eighth Sense was good. Not atop my favorite, but just because I don't like the thrope of the sudden separation with the excuse you will be better without me... lets your partner decides what is better for him, don't you think? Anyway they worked it out and it was quite good before and after, with them building their relationship in little steps till the apex (no pun intended) and then mending it. I really like also the side, heterosexual, couple with a little bit of May/December in it (not huge just a female senior with a male junior). The cinematography is quite good and all the cast is nice and not superfluous. Maybe the reaction of Jae Won's friend to a punch is a little bit too much, but I sense, from the very first scene, a bit of jealousy in him, so I would suggest to Jae Won to not consider him a friend to frequent in the future. HEA. You can see it on Viki. Heat Level: 4/6.

Until We Meet Again was good, a little bit too tragic for my taste, but at the same time it was also cute, with the thrope of the popular male lead in college falling for the introvert cute junior, with all the gossiping and rumoring that implies. Maybe Pharm is too much naive for my cup of tea, I prefer the uke to be more brisk, but Dean as seme is perfect, apparently aloof and cold, but always present when necessary. And I also like that he never once denied what he was feeling, even if at first, he didn't understand those feelings. HEA (for present story). You can see it on iQIYI and Viki. Heat Level: 4/6.

We Best Love season 1 and season 2 are almost two complete different series, both in mood and approach to the characters. S1 is about college student, is mostly a cute story, with a gentle but unrelenting courtiship of Gao Shi De towards Zhou Shu Yi. Apparently s1 has an HEA if not for the very last scene where a misunderstanding separates the two lovers. In S2 (that for what I understand came out immediately after, therefore it's like a unique series), the misunderstanding is still there, but the two lovers try to mend the relationship nevertheless, even if there is a little more bickering than what I like, and sincerely I would prefer for them to just sit and discuss what they did and did not in the past. There are two side couple, the best friends of both of them in s1 and the cousing of Gao Shi De in s2 for whom the love story is more cute. Yes, indeed, considering the theme of the series, bit shot businessmen, I found their interactions to be too much childish, therefore maybe the series is not very realistic, but nevertheless, if you are searching something cute, it's good. HEA. You can see it on WeTV. Heat Level: 3/6.

Oh! Boarding House was a light comedy. At 2 hours long, it's more a movie than a series, but nevertheless it was very nice. Again a title ranking low in the best BL series, and I wonder why: main leads are quite nice, Kim Chun Seo is actually very nice, the story is cute, the love triangle is sweet and not toxic. Maybe the low rate is due to the lack of sex, but trust me, there are some hilarous scenes that have an underlying sexiness, like the first shower scene, when Kim Chun Seo is surprised by Moon Seol Won. If I have to be true, when Kim Chun Seo surprises Moon Seol Won in the shower, I have to smile to the fact that Moon Seol Won, covered in bubbles, was nevertheless wearing a towel tight around his hips... who in the real world is showering like that? But yes, I suppose this was a "family" comedy. Anyway, it was nice, you spend 2 hours basically always with a smile, and even the third wheel, Cha Bong Deok, was sincere and it didn't revert to nasty tricks to prevail. I found funny that, while Kim Chun Seo and Moon Seol Won were still testing the waters, meaning that both of them were still unsure about loving another man, they went to see a gay comedy, Behind Cut, and the poster of that movie appears in many scenes, at the cinema and at the bus stop: probably this was a self promotion of the producers, not sure but they are probably the same. HEA. You can see it on Viki. Heat Level: 3/6.
