Sakuraba is a college student, though you'd never know it, with his short height and baby face. Certainly police officer Amazawa thought Sakuraba was a minor, and nearly booked him for being out too late after he was returning from a drinking party. But there's something oddly familiar about him, and the two strike up an odd relationship...

Sugar Dog Life is a really cute yaoi manga; aside from having a really nice graphic, the story is totally on the romantic side, and there is just a touch of erotic. Indeed the story is quite alligned with the drama,
Sakuraba and Amazawa are not "gay" characters, it just happen that Sakuraba fell in love with Amazawa and confessed his feelings, and Amazawa needs time to understand if his attachment for Sakuraba is love or just friendship. It's not a rushed romance and I like this side of the story.

To others, Sooho might appear a little strange. But to Sooho, there's much more to "life" than the average person may ever know. And that's because Sooho sees spirits. At first he thought his "abilities" were limited to seeing the average ghost here and there, but one day he witnesses a real life angel floating in midair and staring at him. He then promptly breaks said angel's wing by accident. Sooho's had many a ghost follow him around in his short life, but he's never had to take care of an angel...nor a spirit quite so handsome as Taker.

I'm not really a big fan of contemporary fantasy romance (i.e. romance with fantasy elements in a contemporary setting) so I maybe will not give complete justice to Angel Buddy. The story is not bad, and the graphic is nice, but, all in all, it was a little boring, it didn't manage to catch me. There is a big bonus thought, it's a full happy ending, so that is could be a reason to give this a try.

College student Rikiya Higuchi knows he likes men, but he has never had a boyfriend. In a moment of courage, he signs up for a gay dating website, hoping to find a man willing to build a relationship together. Rikiya soon takes a liking to a pen pal—the first man to write to him—and agrees to meet up with him. But he is tricked and wakes up in front of a camera, about to have intercourse with his captor. Desperate to escape, Rikiya cries for help, and unexpectedly, a person materializes out of the walls!

By accident, Rikiya summoned Endo Guar Adroone—a high-class demon with a bad attitude—alongside his bird butler. As he removes Rikiya's retainers, Endo announces that Rikiya is his contractor and that he shall grant the unfortunate student anything his heart desires. Instead of asking Endo to manipulate someone into falling in love with him, Rikiya only wishes to be sent back home so that the demon and his assistant can return to their own world. However, Endo is escaping an arranged marriage—and Rikiya might have to deal with the arrogant demon for a little longer than expected.

Konya mo Nemurena, that you can translate in Another Sleepless Night, is one of most famous works by Kotetsuko Yamamoto. Truth be told, it's not really my cup of tea, and moreover I don't like much that the demon character has the features of a middle school boy. Yes, in reality he is hundred years old, but still, it's a little bit disconcerting to see him with that looks. It's also true that this is not really a sexy romance, so there are few kisses and even less sex scenes (just at the very end), so it really doesn't matter in the end. Anyway, the story is most fantasy, with little contemporary elements, therefore, as I said, not really my cup of tea.

In this world, there are humans without beast ears and humans with beast ears, called Bestia. Dr. Akira Miyaji specializes in treating Bestian patients and is a Bestia himself. Born to non-eared parents, he has been raised thinking he must suppress his instincts. So when he sees Sougo Kijima, a Bestia who lets his instincts run him wild, there's something that makes the doctor snarl. Sougo Kijima is one of the directors of the hospital where Dr. Miyaji works. And to make matters worse, Kijima has designated Dr. Miyaji specifically to be his practitioner! What is it about him that Miyaji reacts to so much?!

Beast's Storm is one of my favorite series if we are talking about omegaverse. Actually it's not really omegaverse, cause there is no difference between Alpha and Omega, but here all "beasts" (meaning human with cat genes) can give birth, despite the gender. The reason why I like it is cause it's really cute and all the babies make the series even cuter. I also liked that the relationship between Akira and Sougo starts pretty much in the first chapter and then develop from that (I don't like when they delay too much the starting of it). Even if there are no much turns in Akira and Sougo's relationship, the introduction of side stories, all of them interesting, is a way to maintain high the level of attention and interest of the readers.

The story tells of a stubborn young master and his loyal servant. Because of their statuses, their love story is at the mercy of fate. Aoi is the heir to his family, but due to some discord between him and his stepmother, he is forced to leave the house. And there to support him is his childhood butler, Miyauchi. After living his days being doted on and served, Aoi finds his position reversed, where he has to work all day. And what has supported him throughout this lifestyle is his unrequited love of 5 years for Jirou, the heir to the Saionji family, a leading automobile maker.

My Rate: 8 (myanimelist.net/manga/102504/Kashikomarimashita_Destiny)

Even if the series started about the standard alpha/omega couple, Aoi and Jirou, the couple that stole the scene is that of Miyauchi and Kudou. The character of Miyauchi is the more complex, and the more interesting; I wouldn't have minded to see him regnonized as he deserved, but nontheless he has a very nice happy ending. There is indeed material for more stories, but the author apparently decided to stop with this happy ending, and in a way it's fitting. Very nice graphic, but if I have to find a defect, is that the panel were sort of very small, full of details and difficult to read. If you read it online you can enlarge the panels, but then you loose the whole effect of the page.
