When a model bonds his face to a product, sometime he "loses" his name; meaning that, people are well aware of his face, but they linked it to the product more than to the real man behind the advertisment. The three models I chose for today are like that, probably common people are well aware of their faces but their name are not so known.

Lars Burmeister (Hamburg, April 26, 1981) is a German model. Born in Hamburg in 1981, Lars Burmeister worked as a mechanic until 2004, when he signed with Ford Models. In September of the same year he debuted on the NY catwalks for Perry Ellis and posing for a catalog for Louis Vuitton. The following year he was chosen as the face of Hugo Boss (contract renewed in 2006), and for Milan catwalks for Dolce & Gabbana and Versace, and subsequently for Giorgio Armani, Valentino and Y-3.

The experience with Armani, allows him to be chosen in 2007 for the TV advertising campaign the for Acqua Gio. Since 2007 he works for Michael Kors, Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro, Cavalli, Iceberg and Missoni. He also works for the advertising of Gap, Bloomingdale's, Zara, and appeared on the cover of Men and V Euromania and German Vogue.

Born in Courtenay, British Columbia, Canada, Simon Nessman was discovered when a friend's sister sent photos of him to Mode Models in Calgary Alberta. His interests include sports, especially basketball & surfing, watching Seinfeld, and learning to play guitar.

In his blog JDVision, JD Ferguson posts an interview with Simon in which he explains his obsession with the model: "My obsession with you is more from a professional standpoint, really. It's more about the perfection of your face, which I know must seem incredibly shallow, but for me (and countless others) your beauty is somewhat classic and a bit iconic." To this Simon replied, "At least it's a healthy obsession."

Ollie Edwards (London, 1982) is a British model. Born in London in 1982, Ollie Edwards began his career in the fashion industry in 2007, after finally abandoned his ambitions to become a motocross champion. Popularity arrives in 2009, when he is, in the same year, chosen as spokesperson for the advertising campaign for Ralph Lauren, Emporio Armani, Lacoste, Benetton, Y-3 and Trussardi. He also appeared on covers and magazine articles as GQ, L'Officiel, Vogue Italy, Men V, iD and Numéro Homme.

Edwards has also worked for Tommy Hilfiger, Alexander McQueen, Staerk and Victor, Enrico Coveri, Dunhill and DKNY. In 2010 he was confirmed as the face of Armani. In 2009 Ollie Edwards was appointed by Forbes as the sixth most successful model of the year. He has also been placed at number eight in the ranking by the site models.com.
