This series mixes futuristic with furry romance: in a fictional alien universe three different breeds cohabitate, Leo, Pardus and Tigris. It also mixes sometime ménages a trois between two men and a woman, and sometime an all men triplet. Achan’s story is an example of this last type, Achan is the young Leo who was kidnapped in the previous episode, and Hunter is the human who helped him against his own brother. Achan and Hunter are both young, and both virgins, they have still to experiment with their sexuality and their desire for each other. Plus there is the issue of Achan’s nightmare, he is still traumatized by what happened and he identifies Hunter with the “enemy”, even if Hunter was one of the humans who didn’t harm him.

Back on Achan’s homeland, Hunter is patiently waiting for Achan to overcome his fear, but it seems a long path. Only the positive interference of Tafa, a big pardus, will help them to find a way to be together. Tafa is older than Achan and Hunter, and with a lot of experience; he finds attractive both Achan than Hunter, but his attraction is more or less what an external observer will feel for two funny puppies. With the help of Achan’s brothers, Tafa will force Achan to face his hate/love for Hunter; the real couple I think it’s the one made by Achan and Hunter, but in an Alpha/omega society like the one where Achan is living, they need an Alpha male between them: not Achan or Hunter are old or strong enough to fill the role.

It’s not a complicated story, it’s quite clear that Achan and Hunter are made to be together, they only need to find the right “combination” to make it happen. And even if they met in a quite dangerous situation, Achan’s kidnapping, the mood of this story is more light than anything else. There is a lot of touchy feeling situation, more than with words, Achan is reassured with the body contact: like a young cub, he needs the warm and comfort of sleeping in group to feel sure and happy. Probably for this same reason, the ménages a trois are not uncommon in this series, it seems like a bed with “only” two occupants is not enough crowded.
