Ok, so I didn't tell many, but I sent some pictures to the Wiki Love Monuments USA contest that was held in September. More than 2.000 photographers partecipated and more than 22.000 photos were submitted; now 500 were selected for the next phase and... 7 are mine!!! I'm so, so excited, even if I don't win, even if neither of my 7 will be selected in the final 10, for me this is already a success. So please, enjoy the 7 finalists:

You are a great photographer and I really enjoy seeing your photos, especially since they're mostly of places I will never get to visit.

Maybe you should set up another LJ for your pictures and link from this one when you update the 'Elisa's Travels Photogallery'. I for one would go look at it any time you posted to it.

My dream was to become a "traveller", i.e. someone who could live changing places for work :-) I almost managed with my actual work, and I'm really grateful for that, and I compensate what I didn't see for work with my vacation time
