Jaason Simmons (born 12 July 1970) is an Australian actor best known for the role of Logan Fowler on the TV series Baywatch. Simmons came out as gay in the March 2008 issue of Australian New Idea magazine with his fiancé Irish actor John O'Callaghan (in 2006, O'Callaghan adopted an Ugandan boy, whom he named Odin).

Born as Jason Matthew Simmons in Hobart, Tasmania, he first began acting in 1993 with a role on the short-lived Australian series Paradise Beach. The following year, he won the role of Logan Fowler on Baywatch. After leaving the series in 1997, Simmons appeared in several theater productions in London and had roles in several independent films including the 1997 film Nowhere. His most recent onscreen appearance was in the 2006 cult film Mad Cowgirl.

John O’Callaghan has performed in Canada, Ireland and the USA and is a citizen of all three. He left home at 17 to work for BMW in Munich, Germany. After falling asleep many times on the factory floor he decided to study Computer Science at the University of Ulster in Belfast. He fell in with the wrong crowd and started to act with Belfast Youth and Community Theatre – a company to unite protestant and catholic actors. They toured Ireland with the play CASTLE RACKRENT. The New Theatre School followed in Boston, Massachusetts. After graduation he pursued his craft in Toronto. He quickly became a member of Canadian Actors Equity after playing the role of One Shotr Dunphy (Rapist/Terrorist) in CAROLANS FAREWELL. (Picture: John O'Callaghan)

After building up an impressive resume he moved to NEW YORK CITY to star in the one man show RUM & VODKA written by Conor Mcpherson. This was a huge success and led to recordings for HBO and NBC. And after several Regional (including The Cleveland Playhouse) and Off Broadway successes (La Mama, The Irish Repertory Theatre, Primary Stages, Manhattan Theatre Club, etc,) and landing the same agent as Jack Nicholson he moved WEST to Los Angeles where actors go to die. John travels between Los Angeles, New York, Toronto and Vancouver. His life resembles a circus at times as he travels with his son Odin and dog Charlie.
