Best Bisexual/Transgender Romance & Erotic Romance: Country Mouse by Amy Lane & Aleksandr Voinov

I didn’t expect this novella to be so sweet and light, probably I’m not used to that side of romance from Aleksandr Voinov, but I have to say that I greatly enjoyed this one and my only regret is that it was too short.

Owen is a US citizen visiting Europe with his former girlfriend Jenny; bisexual and ready to experiment, as his mother advised him to do, and he is a good mommy boy and so he has all the intention to follow her suggestion, Owen is in a pub, gathering a mixed crowd, but the only gay guy there is Malcolm. Trader by day and Dom by night, Malcolm is more than willing to teach some lessons to the young boy, only that the evening doesn’t turn as expected. Owen is young, true, but he is not some innocent boy, and, well, he is “grounded”. Thanks to his hippie mother upbringing, Owen is well aware of his chances in life and love, and he has no problem to grab them when they arrive; on the other side instead, Malcolm is always trying to prove something, that he is the best, that is the baddest, that he can achieve what his colleagues are not able to. Being a Dom is yet another game, another field where he can prove himself. In the span of two days, Owen will destroy all Malcolm’s shielded life, and when he will be ready to take that train out of London, Malcolm will have only one option left.

Nice, nice story, well written, well plotted, very romantic and also sexy. This is a 100% romance, appealing the most romantic readers but also those who have a wittier core.
