Fred Palmisano created songs and scores for nearly every show in the era now known as "The Golden Age of Children's Corner" at Le Petit Theatre in New Orleans. Palmisano ended his career with two Le Petit Theatre productions for which he was arranger, composer and keyboard accompanist: Silver Scream, a 30-song revue, and Cinderella Batistella, a New Orleans version of the fairy tale. His last public appearance was the December 17, 1989 performance of Cinderella Battistella at Le Petit Theatre.

Greg Rikaart is an American actor, currently on the cast of the soap opera The Young and the Restless, playing Kevin Fisher since July 2003. In June 2013, Rikaart revealed that he is in a committed relationship with writer Robert Sudduth. Rikaart posted a photograph of himself with his boyfriend, with the caption "Not getting married anytime soon, but celebrating #equality tonight nonetheless", in response to the 2013 United States Supreme Court decisions in favor of same-sex marriage equality.

Lily Tomlin (born September 1, 1939) is an American actress, comedian, writer, and producer. Jane Wagner (born February 26, 1935) is an American writer, director and producer. Wagner is best known as Lily Tomlin's comedy writer, collaborator and life partner. Tomlin met her partner Jane Wagner in March 1971. After watching an after school special written by Wagner, Tomlin invited her to Los Angeles to collaborate on a comedy album. They married on New Year's Eve 2013 after 42 years together.

Josephine Wiggs is an indie/alternative rock musician, noted for her work with the bands The Perfect Disaster, The Breeders, and Dusty Trails. She was romantically linked to Kate Schellenbach. During their relationship they appeared on the cover of The Advocate, a national LGBT magazine published in the United States. They formed the short-lived band Ladies Who Lunch, and Schellenbach played drums on Luscious Jackson's side-project, Kostars, which Wiggs recorded and co-produced.

Mitch Ryder (born 26 February 1945) is an American musician who has recorded more than two dozen albums during more than four decades. In 1978 Ryder came out and released the overtly gay solo album How I Spent My Vacation. On February 14, 2012 Ryder released "The Promise", his first US release in almost 30 years. Ryder currently resides in South Lyon, Michigan, a western suburb of Detroit, Michigan. He continues to tour and perform in the United States and Europe.

Suspension is a dazzling, remarkably original dark comedy about a young New Yorker's failed attempts to isolate himself in a city that won't take solitude for an answer. Equal parts noir, French farce, and homage to NYC, is a surprisingly heartfelt novel about learning to live in a world where nearly everything is decided behind our backs.

Steven Blier, cofounder of the NY Festival of Song, lives with a form of muscular dystrophy, and James S. Russell and him are learning to adapt. "I derive a lot of animal comfort from being with Jim. I like being near him. There’s just this great sense of home with him. It’s the kind of thing that no one can match-make for you, because it’s so deep. But now, after being married, when I hold Jimmy, I have this feeling of, This is my husband, not just some guy I have slept with for 15 years."
