Detailed, nearly flawless, dramatic and very woven into japanese culture.
This is not my favourite style of writing but the characters were drawn exquisitely, and I love the way the book spanned decades and their lives were interwoven.
Haunting, beautifully written story that weaves together different characters throughout almost a century of Japanese history.
