Wonderful novel and excellent perspective on the military life. Probably the best, most realistic description of military life and social gatherings I have read in a very long time. Would have received near perfect scores if it had been placed in Romantic Suspense, because the romance and relationship aspects drove this book forward; the mystery felt sidelined.
