reviews_and_ramblingsThis book was incredible! I haven't read any of Winters' shifter books before, and I am actually liking it more than her contemporary! While maintaining some common shifter lore aspects, this book took on a whole new twist to a stale genre. The four young shifters made a family, and they cared for each other in a rolling tumble of fun and love, protecting each other and showcasing true friendship. Dillon, the young bear, needs a safe place to hibernate, and they think they might have a place to lay low when BAM! this big, sexy alpha bear saunters into the bar where they work, and chaos reigns! The background plot of territorial tensions was great, and the addition of elk shifters made this a fresh experience in an overwhelmed shifter genre.
