1) This was the most original wolf shifter novel I've come across in a long time, and I can't even remember how long it's been since I enjoyed one of those so much. It had all the key elements of "traditional" shifter stories - the biting, the 'mine', the bonding/ mating thing - and yet it gave me a pleasant surprise with its imaginative take on all of this. Laced with a dash of humor, snarky dialogue and just the right amount of angst between two very likable main characters, this was an entertaining read that I can warmly recommend.

2) Fresh and interesting take on the enemies-to-lovers trope that I enjoyed very much for the pace with which the trust, affection and love grew. The author didn’t shy away from conflict and didn’t make it easy on the characters. I particularly enjoyed that her characters didn’t have all the answers, but had to muddle through.
