1) Excellent pacing, well-rounded characters, and while the subject matter is not light and fluffy, it is handled well and believable, and the writing is so addictive I had trouble putting the book down.
2) Excellent! Possibly the best new novel of the season! Writer Jensen tells a story with ease. A+
3) I was drawn into this book, hook line and sinker, since the phrase "Shruggy McShruggerson shrugged." The author writes so well, pulling you in with witty remarks and snappy comebacks, engaging characters and smart dialogue, breathless sexual tension and riveting sensuality. Nothing felt forced or unrealistic. Oh, the feels. So many feels. Can't count how many times I cried, laughed out loud, and aww'ed. Loved this.

2) The Art of Three Erin McRae & Racheline Maltese

1) I was smitten by this book and couldn’t put it down. The authors are fantastic storytellers, navigating the reader through complex emotions, varied landscapes, jet-setting life-styles and the social minefield of colleagues, family, neighbors, and the Church. The plot races on, slowing down for the tender parts where love and affection blooms unfettered by extra words, and by extra physical descriptions of sex. I noticed the lack of on-screen intimacy, but didn’t miss it. In fact, the already complex plot would’ve been all-too busy with extra thrown in. I recommend this book without reservations.
2) Utterly fascinating story of three romances and one marriage, each brought to life with deftly written characters, who populate a tale of romance, lust, and humor. As the trio of unplanned lovers find their lives coming together in more ways than one, the reader will not be able to close the book until the last word is read.
3) This book had wonderfully complex characters, rich, colorful descriptions, a complex and interesting storyline, and good dialog. I really didn't want to put it down!

1) This is by far been my favorite read so far. The plot was well developed and real. At times it was even hard to read the struggles of the couple in the aftermath of the attack, but I couldn't put it down. Writing something like this can come across as preachy, but the author did an excellent job of hold the characters in the forefront maintaining the focus on their relationship. My only negative is that I would have liked to seen more of the recovery of their relationship after the reconciliation. Excellent job of building Jessie and Kyle's world. The author did a fantastic job of bringing the attack and court experience to life on the page. At times I loved the characters and at times I hated them. The were REAL and complete individuals. Very fluid and full of excellent imagery. Never did I feel like an oberver looking in but present in the lives of these men and their friends.

Runner Up:

4) All the Way to Shore by CJane Elliott

5) Afraid to Fly (Anchor Point #2) by L.A. Witt
