A Mature-rated Boys' Love omegaverse manga series where love blossoms even in the darkest of times.
Ever since the assault that led to his unexpected pregnancy as a teen, Koga Naoto, an omega, has harbored a deep fear and distrust toward alphas. He's even convinced himself that he doesn't need a mate. After all, hasn't he raised his daughter, Shizuku, just fine on his own?
Still, at the behest of his concerned mother, Naoto reluctantly attends a matchmaking party. There he meets Tsuchiya Hazuki, a teenage alpha who declares that Naoto is his destined mate. Naoto does his best to ignore the young man's advances, but he can't deny the way he feels in Hazuki's presence. Can Naoto overcome his fear and admit that maybe, just maybe, he might not hate this one alpha?

Hate Me, but Let Me Stay is probably one of the first Omegaverse story I have read, and, with experience, I can say this is cute but not perfect. Lets say that I loved the Alpha character, Hazuki, and I also loved his mother, and yes, Naoto, the omega, is a strong man that was able to overcome a traumatic event without being bitter or unable to love again. But it's like the author remained on a upper level, without giving depth to the story. For example, Hazuki and Naoto marries, have two kids together, and we basically don't see anything of it, just at the beginning of one volume they are married (and we didn't see it happening), another volume, first kid (again we didn't see nor pregnancy or birth) and again for the second kid, same thing. Sometime we see some flashback, like when Naoto said to Hazuki he was expecting their first child, but it is like an overthought, something passing quickly. So yes, I like the story, but it felt a little bit detached.
