This is my first real yaoi. It's really good but very short for my taste. When it arrived I have thought: good, it's really thick, so I have a lot to read. But of 200 pages, less than 100 are about Akihito and Asami, the two main characters, and the other are all short stories by the same author (some really interesting, like Love Lesson).

Akihito is a young photoreporter; he captures the attention of Asami, a business man who probably is engaged in a drug traffic and with the mafia. Asami kidnaps Akihito and during a night of passion and non consensual sex, marks Akihito as his property. When he frees the boy the next day, Akihito knows he could never forget this domineering man. Everytime he meets him, he can't deny the passion he feels.

And Akihito lets the guy fly away everytime, knowing that he will return back to him. But he will do also everything to protect him from his enemies that could use Akihito as a pawn to draw him in a trap.

Akihito is really young. Maybe not in age, but in experience. But he has a strong wit and Asami is fascinating by his free spirit. And he is really possessive: Akihito could be free, but not free to fly in the arms of another man.

In this graphic novel Akihito is not ready to admit his desires for another man, above all a man with a not so clear past. If I had not yet ordered the next two books in this series I would be a lot disappointed in not knowing if ours two characters will continue their game of love.

Ahah you have tempted me. I have ordered Embracing Love 1, Crimson Spell and also Golden Cain. I have also discovered that an italian online bookseller have some titles from BeBeautiful so Crimson Spell and Finder 3 will arrive from Italy with a huge saving on cost shipping. I have not found Embracing Love 2... I have set an alert on Amazon, I hope to find it soon. elisa

I am sure Embracing Love 2 will be out again soon. Sometimes BeBeautiful books get sold out too fast (Finder 1 was unavailable for many months) but they print more. I'd check their site periodically. Or, check eBay. You were VERY LUCKY to get Finder 3. There was a licensing issue with that volume and BB stopped printing it!! I was lucky to get a copy as well. Hopefully, they will resolve the issue before V4.

I was bothered by so much being taken up with short stories not part of Finder as well. Unfortunately, I have found this with a lot of Yaoi (though not Embracing Love!!) But, Finder Volume 2 has less short stories, and Volume 3 has none at all - only Finder.

VF is one of my favorite manga. If you like Embracing Love by Youka Nitta, you might want to read her other manga (Casino Lily and Sound of My Voice). Love Mode by Yuki Shimizu also my favorite manga, her newest manga ZE is awesome.

Ah, all of you are my temptation. Yesterday I was very tempted to order also Casino Lily. I bought Embracing Love 1, Golden Cain and Crimson Hell. Also I'm waiting for Finder 2 e 3... You make me poor!!! elisa
