In support of Jesse Archer

I was pretty shocked yesterday night to read of how Jesse Archer, an actor and screenwriter I had the chance to know online and then meet in NYC this last September (that is him in the picture, with director Casper Andreas, Jesse and Casper are screenwriter and director of Violet Tendencies, my adopted movie), was injured and arrested Friday night at Grand Central Station. It was not even so late, for a Friday night, 1.30 a.m. and passing through the main room, he did a cartwheel. A nearby policeman wanted to ticket him for "disorderly conduct", and when Jesse, not to the policeman, but to the friend he was too, uttered an expletive about the cops, several of them tackled him, causing an injury at the head and he passed out. He awoke in a prison's cell, naked if not for his underwear.
In the end they ticketed him and he was out at 3.30, but I bet they were 2 very long and painful hours.
I can't even imagine something like that happening to someone I know, when I met Jesse he was so gentle and kind, thinking at how he was treated make me shake. I'd like to be near him to help and comfort, I can only forward the link of the blog he wrote, hoping that something like that doesn't happen anymore. Impossible I know, but from somewhere we have to start.
