reviews_and_ramblingsToday was devoted to the Queen Anne and Victorian houses. During the morning I was very good, I climbed all the hills alone, without taking the Muni... Russian Hill and Nob Hill were silent (it was Sunday morning...) and with a noble "soul". I even passed through the lane that inspired Maupin and his tales. At midday we visitied one of the few historic houses open to the public, a Queen Anne residence which was saved by the fire of 1906 since it was one street far from the fireline. Then I managed to climb on Lafayette park and see the Danielle Steel's mansion... not that I'm a fan of the author, but she is a very interesting person in many way. The rest of the day was spent hopping here and there with the cable cars, since my feet didn't collaborate anymore...
