I have to admit that I'm not very skilled in BDSM or similar, in particular Bondage... and I'm not a very athletic person, but many people has said to me that I'm very "flexible" (don't think bad, I mean doctors during my annual check, they are always surprise when they bend my legs on my brest and I don't cry with pain...)

But, tonight I'm a bit silly. I'm wondering through some covers and I find this one

It's the Worst Cover of 2004 (there is a cover contest and this one has "won" the title)... But is it possible? With the legs of her on his shoulder, can she put her hands on his hips? And then are we sure she is a "her"? Look at that hand... it looks very masculine to me...

Got a point there, Elisa! And where exactly is his head?

Well if his head is where I imagine, well he is risking a strangulation... Her (his?) legs are too tight up there...

Since this is a photo, I imagine the model when they had done it... or maybe the artist has worked a little with photoshop? Elisa (mulling over the cover and thinking that maybe her sexual like is too simple...)

OMG, I didn't even think about models! How long do you think they had to hold that pose? LOL

Well they are in car... it must be a quickie!!! :-)))

Knowing how they do those things, I think it is Photoshopped. I don't think her legs are far apart enough for his head and where are they in the car anyway? Between seats? I think it is four photos, or five (legs, hand, man, car, fabric) put together. It's ridiculous. :)

Oh yes, I understand! It's an orgy in the backseat of the car :-)))) That it not her hand, it's the hand of the man who is doing... ehm, well, better if I stop here... Elisa

I have a very fervid imagination... I have just translated the answer Gail Ranstrom (a Regency romance mistery writer) has given to a reader of my blog on how the cover of her book are done.

"When a book is scheduled for publication, the author fills out an Art Fact Sheet, where we describe how our main characters look and dress. We include a synopsis of the story and then a short summary of three or four important scenes. We have a list where we describe the mood of the story, and the 'take-away theme.' (For instance, 'Things are not always as they seem,' or 'Love heals,' or 'Be careful what you wish for.') Then our editors make their own notes on the Art Fact Sheet and it then becomes murky. I think the marketing department has a say in what they think will appeal to readers and sell more books. Then they come up with a visual concept and it is sent to the Art Department where the concept is actually executed. Alas, the last input the author has is the Art Fact Sheet. After that, it is out of our hands and we first see the art work after it has been done. Too late for changes in most cases."

So between the input of the author, the editor, the marketing department and the art department... I find not impossible that three / four people are crowded in the backseat of the car!!!

Amusingly, I am just filling out the Cover Art form for my own novel. *laughs!* I am hoping beyond all hope that they turn out something I like. :)

maybe the "female" is a gymnast? (*_*)

the hands are very masculine and short nails make me think this is a mxm story XD

Only a gymnast I think could do that... but feel pleasure in doing that? Mmmm

Funny!

Absolutely right on the hands. At first glance I thought it was M/M then noticed the feminine limbs on top. OK M/M/F but pretty uncomfortable I think.

It depends. I can't say if the hand is hers or his, or design of cover itself is wrong.(Legs look like female's)
But I can do it. I'm very elastic and have long arms. You can't? You say you're elastic too and tall!
Only I haven't tried something else yet stretching my arm more and... no, I should better not to say...
Anyway, I like this kind of discussion :D Good remark!

Maybe I can do that, but never try in the backseat of a car... if someone make me drink a lot and then put me in the backseat of a car, maybe I can try it...

Now you have alert us, you can't leae us so...

The backseat of a car is not good place for security reason... Try it in another place! ;)

>Now you have alert us, you can't leae us so...
I have to leave it because you're good girls. Afraid that Santa Claus may not bring presents to you.

I always say "I prefer a good book to a bad guy, but if the guy is "bad" enough, I drop the book and take the guy!"

So, I think, I'm not a so good girl!

Uhm, no no Maximilian, I like to stay behind the camera not in front...

My only recent photo are 23 years old when I have my bachelor degree and 29 years old when I witnessed to my brother marriage (a strange ceremony, my brother, atheist, who to the altar, hadn't speak the holy vows and her wife, catholic, who pronunced them...)

You can make montage. But the most thrilling is, to wear it your mom and go shopping ;)

I just returned from shopping. The people under Christmas is crazy! The city center is full and every store is crowded! I don't like when there is so much crowd... I'm a bit scrodge in this period of the years...
