Here in Italy we don't have Jack Frost, and I didn't know that Santa Claus is also known as Kris Kringle and that he is the twin of Jack Frost and the son of Zeus... or maybe Kiernan Kelly has a fervid imagination :-)

I like this story where two men cursed by loneliness, find love in each other arms. Jack Frost can't have a lover, cause everything and everyone he touches freeze. But Matt seems immune to him and finally Jack can share intimacy with another person and he will be not alone forever. But Matt is mortal and someone wants vengeance on Jack: those are real problem!

But maybe Santa Clause, better Kris Kringle, will help his brother...

I think there is probably a metaphor here, being a misfit, a fantasy characters or maybe gay? In any case it makes you different and your life is not easy, but with a smile and hope, maybe there is an happily ever after. The short story is for sure light and funny.

Yes, I know...Jack Frost has nothing to do with Santa, Zeus, Olympus, or any of the rest. I'm afraid I took a lot of artistic license with this story. :)

But I thought that it made for an interesting story anyway. *grins*
