She has been able to combine the skills of a successful fine art career in portraiture and award winning gallery work to becoming a digital visual communicator which has won her assignments with every major publishing company internationally. A professor of Illustration Specialization and a frequent lecturer at Syracuse University, Brigham Young University, The Society of Illustrators, and many other art institutions, she has been involved in the program "Women Helping Girls", which introduces grammar school girls to varied career opportunities including the art of illustration.
An active member of the Society of Illustrators, she has served as member and chair person, as well as on the Board of Directors and executive committee of the Permanent Collection Committee.
