Last week I was contacted by this young blooger, John; he has a Young Adult, Romance and Paranormal reviewing blog, Dreaming In Books, and he was very kind with my own blog. Of course when you praise my baby, you make of me an happy woman, so, when John asked me for an interview, I heartly agreed.

I tried to focused on me when I was his same age, 15 years old more or less, and so it's a different side of me that you will find there, but in the end, I'm always the same Elisa, am I not?

If you want to read the interview, here is the link:

and as John warned his young adult readers, I will warn you, John's blog is for teenagers, so if you want to leave a comment, remember that you are playing in a young adult sandbox ;-)

Hi, Elisa!

This is a very interesting interview: It is nice to know something more about your background.
And the blog is amazingly good, especially if he is 15! I make a comparison with some of the teens I know...

By the way I finished yesterday ''Hero'' by Perry Moore: I knew it was meant for young adults and before starting to read it I wondered if I had made a mistake buying it. But it was brilliant, I really loved it.

Ciao

Antonella

Hero is on my Wish List, I hope to read it soon. And John is a surprise, being 15 and so clever, well, I think the world would be better if most young men were like him.

It was a pleasure to find out more about you Elisa:) I always use your lj as a starting point when I want to buy some m/m romance book:)

I live in a very conservative, catholic country too, and m/m romances are not translated here, unfortunately. It's a shame because many people could find them amazing and, what's more important, troubled young gay souls could use some good love story sometimes:) It's sad, but they don't have any support here.

Unfortunately I fear that they don't have much support in most of the countries.

What an interesting article, Elisa!

I spent some time checking out some of John's reviews. It's pretty incredible to think that he's a teen (albeit a really cool one since he even reviews books that are geared to female readers! *gives thumbs up*)

Gods, at 15, I think I was neck-deep (pun intended) into Interview with the Vampire by Anne Rice. From there, I jumped to the very in-your-face, i.e. graphic, horror book Lost Souls by Poppy Z. Brite. The latter was about a gang of queer, vicious and punk/goth male vampires.

Apparently, I was into m/m books even back then though they weren't exactly romances. ;)

I do have to say that both books have HEA (of a sort).

Thank you Ethan, I'm not good to write without a focus, but if you give me something to work on, maybe I can manage two words or three.
